Every time I came to see her the staff was nice, the home was clean, the room she has was well set up, and the residents seemed well cared for. I really appreciate that they also decorated the whole house for every holiday. It made it feel more warm.. when she passed, they didn't mind that my large family occupied the space for a few hours to say our goodbyes and even made us some coffee. Thank you guys!Posted on vicky pinuelasTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Very good care the women there are amazing! You can tell the honestly though but they're doing and the people they're taking care ofPosted on Megan CuencaTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. This home is wonderful! We moved our mom out of Casa de Vida in La Mesa and into House of Grace in Chula Vista in April. We had two bad experiences before finding this place and we are so grateful! Helenita, Gina and the entire staff are wonderful. We love that Helenita is a R.N. and Gina is a CNA because it gives us extra peace of mind that our mom's needs are being addressed by qualified people. Our mom arrived there in a weakened state, unable to walk, and very uncommunicative. She had really gone downhill at the previous place. After several weeks of the compassionate care and deliberate efforts of Helenita and her staff, our mom improved so much. She regained strength, was able to get out of the wheelchair and use a walker. Now, just a few months later, she is walking on her own with someone guiding her. She is always smiling and clean, her hair is combed, and she's in different outfits each time we come to see her. They carefully wash her clothes and nothing gets 'lost" or disappears. They send us pictures and videos. Even in her dementia, she has expressed to us how happy she is and how comfortable she is there in that home. They interact with everyone, there are activities, puzzles, music, they go outside and they do chair exercises, and they have planted a little garden. It is beyond our expectations. Everyone who works in that home has immeasurable patience and love for the residents living there. They treat them as they would their own family.Posted on Connie JorgensenTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We took our dear friend Judith out of Stanford court and put her in the care of Hellenita at the house of grace In Chula Vista. This was the best decision I have ever made.Judith was loved and taken care of. I was updated daily with pictures and video, even in her final moments they brought in a music therapy person who sang and played the guitar for her . Helenita stayed there holding her hand to comfort her as she passed. I am so grateful for what they did for my life long friendPosted on LeeAnn LintzTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. This place is an absolute gem. New to the market, I am so glad I found it. The owner, administrator & caregivers, are very hands on, knowledgeable, & caring. They work with each person based on thier needs, sets up plans for care & follow through. The facility is brand new and rooms are spacious & clean. The care my mom is getting is top notch. I love seeing her work on puzzles, color, & even walking outside. They have her active, engaged, & safe. Love it!
Posted on Daniel M.Verified Hello, Just wanted to add my experience with this fine facility and staff. 20 months ago we needed to find a new place for my step-dad. Searching and not finding an adequate place (20 till then) that I knew he/we would be comfortable with, thankfully The House of Grace was the next and immediately it blew out any other facility by far. The road access to the home, cleanliness, size of the rooms hallway, bathroom setup and the warmth of the staff jumps right at you. It was a yes for us the first few minutes. After my step-dad moved in, very quickly did we know it was 100% the right atmosphere for him with the staff being as professional and caring as they are that yes, he felt safe and trusted the staff. He had less than a year of life at the facility and what stuck me is that the staff really felt the loss of my step-dad. We will forever feel blessed that we were fortunate to find the House of Grace. We love them!!!!! Sincerely, Daniel Moreno - Biomedical Technician/HealthCare/California RepresentativePosted on LeeAnn L.Verified My mother has been here since they opened, and this home is a hidden gem. The level of care is phenomenal; the staff lives on site and provides around-the-clock care to loved ones; the resident's quality of life is amazing and provided without over-medication. Since my mother has been here, I have felt very connected to my mother's condition, even when I've been unable to visit. The caregiver's provides consistent and constant communication about my mother's wellbeing, including texts, photos, and videochats, no matter the time of day.Posted on LeeAnn L.Verified A hidden gem. Our family feels very lucky and blessed to have found this place for our mother/Nana.
House of Grace Senior Care gave my mother the daily support she needed with real kindness. The caregivers were patient, dependable, and always respectful. Our family felt comfortable knowing she was in caring hands.
